    Roxboro Post 138 lost at Rockingham Post 254 last night 6-2. Post 138 only had 4 hits on the night. Matt Roberts led Post 138 going 2-4 with a double. Derek Allen and Cody Jones were the other Post 138 players with a hit.

    Joe Conner pitched 7 innings. He gave up 5 runs on 9 hits. Only 3 of the tuns were earned. Joe struck out 4 batters and walked none. Neal Smith pitched the bottom of the eighth and gave up 1 run on 2 hits no k's and 2 walks.

    Roxboro Post 138 is 4-3. Play at Garner on Saturday a doubleheader beginning at 5:00.

    what are the teams in the 2006 area 4 divisions?
    any teams from 05 not fielding a team this year?
    any new teams for 06?

    Kannapolis-2 over Stanly County-1

    Saw a great pitching duel tonight in Albemarle between Kannapolis' Blake Ketner (Catawba College) and Stanly's Russell Brewer (Vanderbilt signee). Both teams played great defense behind great pitching and we were just fortunate to come out on top. Kyle Seager (UNC signee) opened the scoring with a double off the centerfield fence in the 1st and he scored on Jerod Faggart's (App St signee) double to rightcenter. Garrett Sherrill (App St) scored what proved to be the winning run for Ktown later around the 6th inning, and Garrett also came in to pitch the 9th inning to get the save.

    WP- Ketner (2-0)
    LP- Brewer
    Save- Sherrill

    Kannapolis moves to 5-1 in Southern Division play (7-3 overall) while Stanly drops to 3-1 in the league. After a 6-game road swing where we traveled to 4 of the top teams in our league this past week and came away with 4 HUGE wins, Kannapolis FINALLY comes home tomorrow (Saturday) to play Wilkes County. Home sweet home...

    DCL,,,, sorry I missed you at this one, hope you were there,,, saw 2 great teams. Marko will definitely have your guys playing well into the summer. Good Luck.

    Surry vs High Point (I think HP) tonight was rained out.
