    Roxboro Post 138 defeated Burlington Post 63 last night 10-9.

    Robbie Byrd 2-4 2run homer
    Charles Lane 1-3 double 3 rbi's
    Russell Deaton 1-1 pinch hit game winning rbi

    Blake Bowes came in relief of Elliott Tolley and Pitched 5.1 innings with 3 k's, 1 bb, 4hits.

    Boone Seamster got the win by coming in relief in the top of the ninth.

    I think ER was short rostered due to high school playoffs. But Lexington will be tough again this year.

    Tyler Petty, and Eric McInerny hit 16 & 18 home runs , respectively, for Barton this season. Coach Wilkinson would love to see Robbie Byrd step in and assume either of those numbers next year. Good luck to young Mr. Byrd. Look forward to seeing him play in Wilson.

    Roxboro Post 138 lost to Burlington Post 63 last night 13-9. I don't have all the game details right now. I will post them a little later. I will say , however, that we were very sloppy on defense.


    Braves, looking forward to the Charlotte trip on Sunday.


    Souther, Barton College is getting a good one in Robbie.

    Kannapolis Post 501 beats Concord Post 51 tonight by a 8-7 score in first Area III game for both teams. Alex Edwards hits walkoff homerun in bottom of 10th inning for Ktown and Jerod Faggart contributed 2 homeruns for the winners. Was very nice to see Ryan Query in a Kannapolis uniform once again after his great freshman season at Catawba College.

    Kannapolis is at home against Burlington tomorrow (Wednesday May 24) in a game that was rained out last Saturday night.
