I told you even our people get it wrong -- now I understand it is Alberto Turuda. That makes a lot more sense. I also understand that Alberto is just a rising sophomore. If that is the case, he is really a player to watch out for.

I need to brush up on my espanol to be able to communicate with his folks, though.

Rowan started the scoring by chipping about 5 bloop singles in the third inning but then began to blast away hitting three home runs and chased every Mooresville pitcher that went to the mound in the 7 innings that mercifully ended before the rains came. Nice crowds were on hand at both venues on Wednesday and Thursday, any reports of Legion ball slipping in popularity are'nt true in Area III. Mooresville now stands at 5-4 and slips to fourth place in Area III behind Stanly, Mocksville and Rowan with Lexington comming to town tonight and a road trip to Ktown on Sunday.

btw...........That Concord/Kannapolis score has to have those Ktown boys scratching their heads, go figure.

Western Forsyth Post 522 Rained out last, if we had to play right now we couldn't since it is pouring in Clemmons. The rain needs to go away. We now have 4 games to make-up. 2 against Surry, I@ Randolph Cty & 1 @ Yadkin.

Last night game against Surry will be made-up next Friday 6/17 as a doubleheader at WF.
