    Roxboro Post 138 defeated Clayton last night 9-6. Winning pitcher was Joe Conner. Daniel Walker pitched the ninth for the save. Cody Jones, Jayce Cook, Derek Allen, Ryan Daniel, Blaine Newton all had two hits for Post 138. Post 138 is now 8-4 overall on the season.

    Next game is Friday evening vs. Pineville at 5:00 in the Caldwell County Invitational.

    South Rowan and Lexington...

    33 hits between the 2 teams ..

    South Rowan wins this one 16-15

    Well, I just got back from a BUTT KICKING.......OURS!

    Concord 14
    Mooresville 8

    Mooresville fell behind 7-1 after two innings and never mounted a serious threat the rest of the game. Concord got a great effort on the mound by Tripper Newsome and the Post 51 bats looked as good as any weve seen all season. Mooresville starter Tim Sullivan lasted but 2 innings and Mooresville used a total of four pitchers on the night but none were effective. I've got to tip my hat to the staff in Concord, they've turned things around from where they were when we beat them by 17 runs earlier in the season. OUCH!
