    Shelby made it 5 straight wins with it's victory over Gaffney 10-2. Josh Drewery went deep for Post 82 (his 10th on the year) and Bronson Smith added a long ball. Shelby starts back to back days of Doubleheaders as today they host Henderson County at 1:00 then travel to Lake Norman for a 7:00 game. On Saturday they are at McDowell for a 1:00 start then at Rutherford County at 7:00.

    sorry about that coach. i guess i need to come to grips with the fact that our starting pitching has a few holes in its rotation. we have given up big numbers more times than i want to think about this season. we are also without starter Brandon Padgett and Justin Ogle who are both at the junior state games......and this aint the same concord team we saw a few weeks ago. you can kick me in the head this saturday if it would make you feel better. lol. peace.

    i'm sure we will try VI...
    we play twice saturday... at 1pm and 7pm i think...
    should be interesting ..

    working this weekend so i can come to a Charlotte / Pineville Legion game .
    You guys dont have many Country Style Restaurants so i figured if we went to Trios i better have some extra funding ... Thats the only reason for working weekends.. :thud:

    HR- JD Worthington (hit 2 "3-run" bombs)

    Wow, dem Kannapolis boys swung the sticks tonight and put this game away early against a very dangerous good-hitting Concord team.

    After losing 4 games early and not getting the NW Cabarrus players until late,,,,, this Kannapolis squad has worked its way back into a tie for 1st place with Stanly County and Mocksville (all with 4 losses). Big game in Ktown tomorrow night with Kannapolis/Mocksville (possibly Ketner vs. Poindexter on the hill),,,,,,,,,,,, should be a playoff atmosphere for a beautiful Saturday night in Ktown...... :woohoo:

    :roflmao:.....we've got 3 and they're good'uns, but nothing like the Townhouse.

    If you ever want to know of a good restaurant in Charlotte, just ask any of the 2000+ attorneys that we have. You can find them all at three restaurants in Charlotte during lunch. Anderson's, Gus Sir Beef or The Diamond. People think that attorneys have a bad reputation for not returning calls in the afternoon...it's because they are napping after eating at these places.

    Poindexter threw & struggled, but Lexington didn't have any of their top 3 pitchers available.
