    And MoTown better come to play..

    South Rowan / Mocksville also rained out. not sure at this time when it will be made up.
    I think a Wilkes loss helps us .. and a win for us really does good..

    i sure hope so coach. we will probably throw Skidmore on Wednesday and will have a full squad with our state games players back in town. i looked for you last night but did not see you. i ate a hamburger in your stead......with red slaw too!

    Gaston Braves 11, Charlotte 3

    I wish some of that rain had come our way.

    A 2-2 game after 6, Gaston broke it open late and it got ugly. Gibson and Palmer both homered for the Braves. Gaston used six pitchers, with no one going more than two innings, and they scatterred seven Charlotte hits. They all pitched well. Charlotte (8-5, 7-5) got a good outing from Josh Barker, who went six and left with the score 2-2, but the bullpen did not come through tonight.

    :thud: Thud, That was the sound of Randolph County's bats yesterday. Wow, I was hoping that the WF score wasn't going to make the post. Oh well, 8 games in 6 days, man did we run out of pitching, also had 3 gone to State Games.
