    Hickory 12 Taylorsville 2

Home runs by Harrow and Wharton backed the 7 inning complete game by King.
Taylorsville was down to 9 players due to quitters, so the rumor mill says. Seems like Taylorsville legion battle themselves year in and year out.

    Taylorsville vs. Hickory

    Taylorsville Post 170- 2

    Taylorsville is now 10-7(8-6)

Red Bear, as to what you posted about Taylorsville only having 9 players due to quitters, You are wrong with that. We have 1 player out with an injury and 4 or 5 gone on vacation. So where ever you heard that rumor it can be dismissed because its not true

I stand corrected. It came from the press box where supposedly several names were scratched from the line-up due to unexpected no-shows.

Quick game in Lexington tonight. Lexington 10 Kannapolis 0.

Part of the credit goes to Zack White who threw a masterpiece. Probably a 5 hitter or less. White is a rising Sophomore at North Davidson & has a bright bright future.

Part obviously goes to the fact that Kannapolis was not highly motivated since their playoff spot was secure. Sherrill did not throw of course. Not certain where the K pitcher fits in their rotation.

That leaves Lexington tied with Mooresville with a 9-7 record. The 2 teams split, with Lexington winning by more runs head to head. Lexington's record against teams ahead of them was:
    Rowan 1-1
    Kannapolis 2-0
    Mocksville 0-2
    Stanley Co 1-1

Anybody know how it all lines up now??
