Well I'm not sure what Kannapolis was doing tonight, but I tip my hat to the Lexington pitcher for pitching a great game.

Several things for sure. South Rowan now moves back into the playoff picture as the #8 seed over Wilkes County, and Rowan County secures the #1 seed outright. Lexington gets the tiebreaker over Mooresville as the #5 seed and Mooresville drops to #6.

Still not certain where Mocksville, Kannapolis and Stanly County fit (all with 10-6 records), but was told that Stanly would be #4 and Kann/Mocks would have to add up some runs to decide #2/#3. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

    Btw IntimidatorCoach,,,,,,,,,,,,, you're welcome. :banginghe

WOW!....this has to be one of the tightest SD Area III races in recent history with 7 teams finishing up within 2 games of each other with SR slipping in on the last day after appearing to be left for dead.

Legion Tiebreaker Rules (according to Salisbury newspaper):

    First tiebreaker: head-to-head competition
Second tiebreaker: how teams fared against higher seeds.

Third tiebreaker: runs allowed....Not certain if this is head to head runs or runs against higher seeded teams.

    Fourth tiebreaker: coin flip.
