(Surprised that they got this game in on Wednesday. I thought that it rained all over NC on Wednesday night?!?)

 

Post337Fan, I really appreciate the scores from our area. Just curious: how do you get them? Also, can you post the standings in the area leagues?

I just pick up the Area III scores from the Charlotte Observer occassionally and just post them when I see them not posted by the teams that have played on any particular day. I am in Area IV. I wish that more Area III and Area IV legion baseball teams and ALL the legion teams ALL over NC would post their legion scores and game details more often.

 

Pineville Post 337 vs. Charlotte 262

Not that this is a surprise with ALL the rain we have had for the last two days but, the Pineville Post 337 vs. Charlotte Post 262 @ South Meck game has been cancelled tonight (6/2/05) and will be re-scheduled.

 

Never really rained hard at the Western Game last night, very light drizzle, field needed the rain, it has been very dry. Plus Western has 2 games to make up from last week, so really wanted to play last night. Now it looks like tonights game with Rockingham County will have to be made up.

 

Big Surprise:

All Area III games rained out tonight.

Caldwell rallied and tied the game up at 3 all in the bottom of the eighth. Then Russel Reid came up to bat and hit a 2 run shot to put the icing on the cake.
