    Scott Brewer (1-1) threw a complete game 4-hitter for Post 262 (2-2). He struck out 8 and walked 3, throwing 108 pitches. A solo homerun in the top of the third by the Post 100 2b (#24, sorry I didn't write his name down) accounted for the lone run for Cherryville (4-2).

    Albero Turvda and Will Rorie were both 2-4 for Charlotte, each with a double. Post 262 played much better defense tonight than they have in the last couple outings.

    Roxboro Post 138 defeated Raleigh Post 1 8-6 Sunday afternoon. Ryan Daniel hit a 3-run homer in the top of the ninth. Hunter Wrenn got the win after pitching the 8th. Blake Bowes pitched seven good innings and Daniel Walker pitched the ninth for the save.

    Great job Coach Tuck and Post 138, that's a scrappy bunch there you have, a good mix of BY and Person players. Keep rolling Iam pulling for you guys!!!

    Shelby over Asheville 9-4. Daniel Folk got the win for Post 82. Shelby moves to 7-3 overall and 5-1 in Area 4 west.

    Shelby is at Caldwell County tonight.

    It was a great pitchers dull untill the sixth when Caldwell got on the board and scored 7 runs between the 6th and the 8th. Shelby got there 2 runs in the top of the 9th inning.

    Caldwell is now 5-1
