    Side note on Morehead City..They have been playing the tournament without one of their players: All State player Drew Poulk. Still an amazing run for the team..MC has alot of heart!

    Apparently Poulk is serving a family commitment since school starts next week. They planned their vacation as late in August as possible, but unfortunately it fell this week...

    Anyways...

    Morehead City just tied DeLand, 1-1 in the Top of the 5th inning.

    Winner of Morehead City-Deland plays Sumter, SC for the Region Title later today

    DeLand up 6-1 in the 6th now.

    MC is losing steam is sounds like... but hey, they've been in this situation before. Come on guys.


    DeLand got 3 in the bottom of the 6th.... 6-1 going into the 7th.

    how?

    how did it end up with 2 once-beaten teams playing once for championship with no "if" game? no what I mean? I was trying to follow the many posts on this topic, but it seemed not to be going like most double-elim's. I have not looked for a bracket.
