    2012 ANDREW MacLATCHIE: Providence High School / South Charlotte Panthers has signed his Letter of Intent to attend college and play baseball at FURMAN UNIVERSITY. AMac will join the Paladins following his senior season at Providence HS where he will help lead the Panthers in 2012

    Congratulations to Andrew and his parents Scott and Laurie.

    Yeah for Andrew. He's a great kid. Furman will be a good fit for this very intelligent guy.

    Best news I've heard all day

    If there is any justice in the world, all bets just got settled! This is outstanding news and couldn't happen to a better man. A-Mac, you are a top-shelf teammate and a super athlete.

    Congrats to you and the family! Purple ain't so bad now, is it....

    Couldn't Be Happier...

    Couldn't have happened to a nicer young man! It's very well deserved and Furman is getting the whole package with AMac. A leader behind the plate and in the classroom. Can't wait to see you this spring on the ball field.
