    Just as an update to this thread -- Andrew won again last night on 2 days rest. He is 10-0 now I think. Coaches from NC A&T were there and talked with him a good while after the game was over, so he is starting to get noticed. The exposure he gets next week at the State Tournament will help as well. Thanks to everyone that posts here and also to those that may just surf around. If Andrew toes the rubber for any college next spring folks here can rest assured that they helped a deserving young man by getting the word out.

    This kid could pitch for a "LOT" of colleges. He apparently just hasn't been in the right place at the right time. Yes the state legion tournament next week will help get him exposure, but I'm still just simply "amazed" someone hasn't gobbled him up by now. If you are a college coach and don't believe what folks are saying about him,,,, you "REALLY" need to go check him out for yourself. His wins and ability to shut teams down is no fluke...

    I've already heard from a couple of colleges that are interested in Andrew. The best thing is some colleges have additional monies now that they didn't have in the early spring, due to academic disqualifications, draftees and transfers. I have a strong feeling that Andrew will be taken care of.

    Hey 9nine9- do you think we could get Andrew on here. I know a lot of people would like to talk to him and ask him some questions. I know the TBR community has adopted this young man and we want to follow up on his progress.

    I'm tellin' ya...we're going to get this young man a deserved scholly if we have to call on all contacts or come out of pocket ourselves to do it.

    I can't begin to thank everyone who is supporting Andrew. I have zero connection to him other than as a Dad whose son has benefited from this kids labor. Along with 9, I will keep you posted.
