Anglers Scout Team

The Anglers are looking for 2009 & 2010 grads that are capable of playing at the next level. The Anglers's welcomes new talent so please understand that only talent at the highest level will be considered as a potential prospect and not all submissions will receive a response.

The Anglers season runs from June 6th - Oct 31st.
Scheduled to play in major showcase tournaments in VA, SC and NC. Will be attending 2009 Grads-17u WWBA Nat'l Championship in Marietta, GA on July 8-14.

Hitting Camp

Also if you missed the hitting clinic that Freddy Suggs put on at South Granville High School, you can catch his hitting clinic at Purnell Sweet High School on Thursday December 27th. at 11AM. Ages 12 and up are welcome.

Freddy Suggs (MLB Scouting Bureau), Brandon Yarbrough (Catcher-St Louis Cardinals Org.) and John Raynor (outfielder-Florida Marlins Org.) will be the camp instructors.

Please fill out the hitting camp registration and get it in with payment by Dec 21st.

Freddy will also be looking at possible future players for his Anglers Scout Team. The past hitting camp at South Granville he inked 2 players for the 2008 Angler Season. Good chance to get seen before the Anglers tryouts!!!!

Freddy does a good job.

 

I would have showed up if only one player attended.
