Had a message from a guy named Ron on the machine when I came in last night. He said he was from the Blue-Gray classic and my son had been recommended to him. He wants him to come to Coastal Carolina this summer. He said something about him not having to try out because he had been recommended. Anyone here ever been to this? Should I follow up, or is this something else just trying to make money? I have heard of it but know nothing about it and was hoping to get some input here.

    Thanks,

I agree with Braves. If you can get in on the Impact showcases or Perfect Game events you will get more bang for your bucks. My son was involved in all of the above and we and others that attended felt the BG was over hyped. There are many of this these types of "showcases" that have kids names on a master list and they mass mail and call to generate $$. It is flattering but most times just a waste of time and money.

I appreciate your thoughts. He also has an invite to Impact at Wake. I think we'll definately go there.

    Thanks again.
