    Hello My Friend

Good to see you again last weekend. The Heat 09's ended up 2-2, with 2 loses by one run.
We played the Megastars and had a 10-2 (or something like that) lead and ended up snoozing a little and lost 11-10.
The Maryland Select, we gave up 5 runs in the first inning (after that comeback loss to the MS's I think they were still stunned!) By the second inning, the boys got back on track and didn't give up another run but only scored 4 so a 1 run loss.
Next up the Upstate Mavericks and to be honest, I can't remember the score but I will update when it hits me. We did win though.
Finally the SCP 2010 to wrap up the day. I think that ended up about 11-3 or so... Again, I will update when my chemo brains remembers..

The team is coming together really well and we they hit on all cylinders, they will certainly be a force to deal with. They are a great group of humble kids.. The coaching is fair .. hahahaha Just kidding Jason! Jason's leadership is a big reason they will be successful. I think I have said before, it's gonna be a fun summer.

    Heck of a player

Matt Roberts is a heck of a player. I look forward to seeing him play this summer and fall.

Did anybody notice Olin Little for the Megastars? If so, how did he look?

    Shame shame shame

Rocky Mount Legion would be an option for Pratt and Jeff since they basically are spending the summer here in town BUT no one has been able to convince one other area coach to allow them to play here!!

Why would anyone want to stop kids from playing ball?
I just don't see the big deal especially since Legion rules allow for releases.

What a great summer of ball coming up

With the above results and also other matchups of Canes/Dirtbags, Heat/Megastars that I witnessed this past weekend it is going to be a fun summer of competitive baseball. Seems to me that all the top teams are getting stronger and there will be some super games at every showcase event. None of these top teams are going to want to lose and it will be real exciting to see them competing. Who do you think will have the best summer or fall season and why?
