    I went to rhe DAP expecting to see a baseball game and got a football game.

    Durham fails to hold a twelve-run lead, then scores three in the last of the eighth to get past Garner 21-19.

    This despite Garner hitting four home runs, including a grand slam and a three run-shot by Darren Tew.

    Wow...

    Just got off the phone with Coach Barbour....

    Durham sweeps the series, 3-0.
    Durham Post 7 - Area 1 West Champs
    Garner Post 232 - Will be #2 team in Area II as far as Tournament seeding goes.

    Durham won 21-19 tonight. Durham led 16-4 before Garner tied it up 18-18. Durham scored 3 in the bottom of the 8th and Garner could only put together 1 run in the Top of the 9th.


    Durham vs. Wayne County for the Area I Championship. Best of 3.

    Down 7 - 1 in the bottom of the 9th Durham erupts for 5 runs including a grand slam only to have the door closed. 7-6 Wayne County. Durham faces Cherryville and Wayne Co. challanges Cauldwell Co. On to Garner.
