    Predictions? Obviously, Randolph County and Rowan has to be the favorites based on what they've done this summer. But they play the games for a reason.

    Triadman, I agree with you that Kville/Rowan should be a better series than Randolph/SR,,,,, but if Rowan County hits the ball like they did against a very strong Lexington team, Rowan should be a favorite to win the state title in Garner, especially given their strongpoints are depth in quality pitching, D and coaching. They're not 31-2 by a fluke.

    no doubt they'll both be good series's

    i just gave my opinion. that's not to say that rowan can't win the series. i just think kernersville is playing really good at the right time. they have alot of quality arms as well.

    Triad,,,, fair enough, and who knows you could be right. Kernersville is certainly capable. Btw, I will be at Newman Park for Game 1 on Saturday night,,, will you be there? Always enjoy meeting TBR folks. For that matter, any other Kernersville or some of our new Rowan posters, let me know how I can meet some of you.

    two big rowan county wins

    south rowan wins game one on the road 5 - 3. rowan county ninth inning comeback (down 1 heading in) to knock off kernersville 8 - 7. details later...
