    I think the post I was responding to was deleted or something. It said that South Rowan got lucky this series. I didn't mean to say everyone had sour grapes.

    Concord Post 51 defeated Mocksville 8-7 in the bottom of the 9th with one out, three walks and a walk off error

    wow. my son's room mate at LR plays for post 51 (he went to CC too). those guys have battled all season. props.

    Lexington 13 Stanly 5 Lex wins series 3-1

    Clay Watson gets the win on short rest. The game was close until late when Lex broke it open with 4 home runs (2 by Zach Roach, 1 by Daniel Kassouf & Jay Yount.

    Hat tip to Stanly. Tough team that fought to the end. A couple of errors cost them dearly.

    Lexington at Rowan beginning Sunday.

    Mocksville/Concord still only 2-2 in series, isn't it,,,,,,,, or did Concord win the series?

    Yes, the series is tied 2-2, going back to Mocksville tonight. And yes indeed it was a choke job, game was tied bottom of the 9th, Concord had bases loaded with 1 out, batter hits a grounder to short, which should have been an easy routine double play, but instead short tries to make the play at the plate and ends up throwing the ball in the ground and over the catchers head:banghead:
    Concord has the momentum and is surely pumped up. Both teams have burned alot of pitching this week. Ryan Carter will probably be the starter for Mocksville, even though he just started game 2 Tuesday night. He only pitched the first 4 innings because of a wrist injury. But who knows, it's crunch time, could see a little bit of everybody on the mound tonight!
