which lexington davidson field for tonight's lexington rowan game? this series could go deep - lexington beat rowan earlier, had them beat in game two before a tremendous rowan rally, and last night was very close of course. two very very good teams.

I see now it is Holt-Moffitt - if anyone can provide directions or a link to directions then that would be great - thanks.

UK7Dook3,,,, agreed, Lexington is certainly capable of winning this series. I did hear that you guys were leading 4-3 late last night, so I guess I wasn't really thinking about "why" someone would be asking the question if you guys still had a chance when I posted my response. Certainly you do.

    Rowan takes 2-0 lead

Rowan (31-2) defeated Lexington tonight 7-4 to take a 2-0 lead in the best of 5 series. Cy Young moved to (7-0) throwing 8 innings, striking out 11 and walking 0. Young scatterd 5 hits and allowed 3 runs. Alex Britt came on to pitch the ninth. Jason Ridenhour added 3 hits for Rowan. Clay Watson (4-3) took the loss for Lexington. Tonights matchup is Lee Dupree vs. Nathan Dunn.

South Rowan defeated Concord 4-1. Walker Snow, who came on in relief in game 1, pitched a complete game in game two only allowing an unearned run. Daniel Wagner went 2-4 at the plate and added a homerun.

I think rain was affecting the Northern Division games. Last I heard Kernersville was leading High Point 13-2 in the 8th inning and Randolph was ahead of Burlington 6-0 in the 2nd.

I love 'em to death, but Lexington is toast. Last night was their chance to make it a series. They would have to first win tonight - and Nathan Dunn has done a great job this year, but facing Lee Dupree on the road is a tall task. Then, even if that were to happen they would have to come back with Sechrest and Watson on real short rest. The fat lady hasn't sung, but she is in the bullpen getting loose.
