Here's the Southern Division brackets if someone from the Northern Division will help out by sharing theirs.

Playoffs begin Monday July 7, best of 5, first game at higher seed, rotate home and away each night.

8) Stanly County at 1) Lexington
5) Concord at 4) South Rowan *Note: the #4 & #5 seeds could still flipflop depending upon the final reg.season game 7-3-08 w/SRowan at Rowan Co.

7) Kannapolis at 2) Mooresville
6) Mocksville at 3) Rowan County

I think this is how it is going to play out!

#8 Surry vs. #1 Burlington
#7 Winston-Salem vs. #2 Randolph
#6 High Point vs #3 Kernersville
#5 Eastern Randolph vs #4 Western Forsyth

High Point has 2 games to play, 1 against WS tonight and 1 against Randolph on Friday. If HP wins both, I do not know who hold the tie breaker between HP & ER, as they would be tied.

 

Tools, all first round series in Area III are best 3 out of 5, Northern and Southern Division,,,,, right?

If that's true, thank God. The Rowan vs. Randolph series went a meaningless 7 games last year and both teams played like they were worn down at States. Yes, the Area III Championship is a big deal concerning bragging rights, but the teams should all be rested to make a run at the state championship, as this is the ultimate goal.

Area III Northern Div

HP loses to WS last night so the HP will be the 6th seed, 1 game left to play, HP @ RAndolph today, do not think it will have an effect on the playoffs, if Randolph loses they would hold tiebreaker on Kernersville.

Thanks Tools and Boxman, that was the notes that I had also, but someone from another team questioned me and they seriously thought first round was only 2/3,,,, I told them I believe they were mistaken. Again, thanks.

As for Southern Division, South Rowan beat Rowan County 8-4 last night, so South solidifies the 4th seed and homefield adv with their series against Concord.

 

I know in the Kernersville/High Point series that the first 2 games will be at Kernersville and games 3 and 4 will be at High Point and game 5 at Kernersville. I guess this is because the Hi-Toms are at home Tuesday. Game 1 probables are Matt Dillon vs. Ryan Dull...should be an exciting series!!
