I think the series starts Tuesday and that will be at 7 at Butler. It is a best-out-of-five series.

The Gaston Gazette said that game 1 is at South Tuesday night, with games 3 and 5 at Butler. Games 2 and 4 will be at Cherryville.

How hard do you guys think these teams will play in this series since both teams go to the state tourney? On the post game radio show from Cherryville last night, it was mentioned that Mason may not even pitch in the series since he was used often in the last two series. Your thoughts?

The State Tournament is I understand at the J. P. Riddle stadium in Fayetteville NC. There are a number of dates shown beginning with 7/31-8/6 on the World Series State Tournament for NC to an 8/1-8/3 on another location. Do you know the exact play date? Is 7/31 registration and Banquet? When would Pineville play their first game? When would Cherryville Play their first game?

They will play hard because both coaches and the cherryville fans will demand it...but having said that, you are exactly correct Halton 49...Mason will not pitch this series.

Pineville team is pumped and ready for this series.
