    Good to see the new teams, of course the drive from Monroe to Sylva will be a haul.

    And we thought we had a drive to Troy. With school going so late now, it is probably hard to avoid games before school gets out.

    What ever happened to the labor day to memorial day school schedule Other states still do it, why can't NC ?

    I guess the longest "regular season" drives I've ever seen was when Troy was still in the Southern Division with us. Troy and Wilkes County was 2 hours+ from each other, one way. Those 2 teams would play a doubleheader on a Saturday or Sunday just to get their scheduled 2 league games over and done with.
