    I would go out on a limb and say Cherryville, Pineville, Caldwell County, and Shelby to name a few...

    Would like to see some surprises out there for a change. Legion ball is becoming to predictable in all areas. Where's the underdogs!

    I think Burke is going to surprise. They have a quality team. Have seen them play a couple of times and they are a good all around team. Drawing from 4 high schools is huge and will add a 5th next year with the new school in Valdese. The 4 they drew from this year have come together well. The little league crew from Patton, East Burke finished 2nd in their conference, McDowell had alot of tough loses and have 2 very good pitchers and a heck of a ballplayer in the 2nd basemen. The Washington kid came from Freedom. A very talented team. And with the new schools Burke should be around for a time. Coach Swink is a HOF and deserves it

    Yea Burke i have heard is going to be a strong team. What about the bottom of that league with lake norman taylorsville and Hickory. Don't one of those teams have to make it since they are taking the top eight from that league. I havent seen any of them play yet.
