    Kind of a slugfest tonight, alot of errors from both teams, but also alot of good hits. I know Derek Carlyle pitched and hit a HR for Apex. Dylan Kipp, Eric Brady, and Drew Woodall (I think) homered for Cary.

    Unless Apex wins the next 3, we will play post 297 starting Monday in Durham at 7pm at Riverside High School. We split in the regular season with both teams winning their home games.

    Sounds like Edenton and Wayne will play tonight. Both have won two games. Wayne Post 11 beat Edenton Post 40 (6-3). Game is at Mount Olive College and I guess it will be played at 7:00.

    Raleigh Post 1 - 4

    Clayton Post 71 wins series awaits the results of the Cary Post 67 and Apex 124 series. If Cary Post 67 wins over Apex Post 124. Clayton will play Cary Post 67. If Apex Post 124 wins the series Clayton Post 71 will play North Raleigh 297.

    Good luck in the next round. You guys certainly have the hitting to advance. Tell Doug that he did not have to hit Nate in the back last night!!

    The guys from Post 1 are a classy, talented and scrappy bunch. Doug did not hit Nate intentionally... your son has a lot of talent and hope to see him playing more at the next level...

    ...that it was intentional. Doug is too classy a kid. Besides, I saw where Noteboom had the target...Doug simply missed .... Thanks for your kind words about Nate...after sitting out freshman his first year, his knee is better and he is ready to go!

    You guys keep swinging the bats and you will be fine.

    (7 innings)

    Cary wins seris 3-0, all games were mercy rule shortened after 7 innings, Cary outscoring Apex 42-7. Clayton comes to Cary on Monday for the first game of the next round, both teams crushed the other team while on the road. So no predicting this seris.
