Head to head would be my guess... That was a split, I would then guess runs allowed... or maybe how they did vs. the next team (North Raleigh)... not sure...

Head to head, then begin at the top. Of course, if it gets complicated, they'll make something up.

The following is from an e-mail I received from the Area 1 Commissioner.

"Area I: Senior American Legion Baseball Playoff Schedule.

The Eastern and Western Conference are divided into two divisions; North/South and American/National. The top four teams in each division will advance to the playoffs and be seeded 1 thru 4. The first round will involve play between both divisions with the number 1 and 2 seeded teams in a division, in separate brackets. (Tie breaking procedures to determine seeding will follow)

Area I will have a representative from the Eastern Conference and Western Conference, plus the host team, Garner, in the State Tournament.

Note: If Garner wins the Western Conference, the team they defeated in the Conference Finals will advance to the State Tournament

All Playoff bracket Games 1 will begin on the prescribed date. If the previous series has not been completed due to weather the team ahead in the series will be declared the winner. If the series is tied the winner of Game 1 of that series will be declared the winner. Every effort must be made to complete all series’ including moving the game to a neutral field or to the field of the “away” team.

All series’ will be played alternating home fields. (1-1-1 or 1-1-1-1-1)

The higher seed will host Game 1 of all series. In the event teams with equal seeding play each other, the team with the best winning percentage (all games) during the regular season will host Game 1. "
