    Solid hitting for Post 71..17 hits and left 8 on base. Alford (2-3), Joyner(3-3), Daughtry(3-5), Noteboom(2-3), Hardee(2-3), Holloman(3-5) had multiple hits in the game. Homeruns by Alford, Joyner, Daughtry (2). Hinton started on the hill and threw 6 solid innings allowing 0 run on 3 hits, 1BB, 4K. McGlothlin pitched 1 innings allowing 1 run with 2 hits

    June 1:
    Durham 9
    Benson 4

    Scott Crane goes the distance for the win as Durham improves to 4-2 and 1-0 in conference.

    June 2:
    Durham 20
    Kerr Lake 5

    Durham bangs out 22 hits including 3 HRs (Bass, Burgess, Elefante) improving to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in conference.

    We got taken behind the wood shed last night in Oxford by Durham 20-5. After 5 it was 8-5 and shaping up to be a good game. After 6 it was 18-5, and the fat lady made her way onto the campus. Kerr Lake is very young (10 Jrs.) and will take a while to figure it out, but will get much better as the season moves along. HR's for KL (Talley and Winecoff) KL 0-1

    Garner has Fuquay, Garner, Zeblo is the only kid from Broughton and we have Willingham and Brown from Wake Christian.
