Area I Scores June 1 - June 7

Most of the Middle Creek guys are playing with Apex, a few of the guys were with Post 232 last year and are with 124 this season.

 

Guess it really does rain in Area I, after all

Wilson was set to open conference play Friday night in Ahoskie when the skies opened instead. Rescheduled to June 11, and the game at Edgecombe County originally scheduled for that date has been moved to the end of the regular season on June 26.

Durham 9

Dug a 7-0 hole after 2 due to a poor effort on the mound. Climbed back in the game at 9-8, but couldn't hold the lead. Post 7 falls to 5-3 and 2-1 in conference.

Zach Bernard goes the distance as Clayton and Durham play yet another 1 run game. This makes 6 of the last 7 between these two as one run games. Durham improves to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in conference.
