You might have thought a lot different about a week or two ago. We've won 7 out of our last 9

    Clayton helps Cary

    Cary 16, Clayton 10

Clayton saved several pitchers for the playoffs, which enabled the Cary bats to come alive, hitting 8 HRs (Dylan Kipp 3, Eric Brady 2, Chris Perry, J.T. Todd, and Percy Evans). Both these teams are struggling right now, I think Cary needed this more than Clayton. Cary had only 9 players, got a 10th a few minutes before game time, not good.

Playoffs start this week, Cary finishes to 14-6, 11-5 conference, and 2nd in the conference. Even though in theory this gives them home field advantage for the several playoff rounds, it's uncertain if they will be allowed to use their home field during the week - may have to play those games away.

OK - I'm officially done complaining or making excuses, let the playoffs begin and whoever wins is the better team. Good Luck to all.
