    The rule is not fuzzy, no 2 part bats and no composite bats.

    I believe the confusion lies with the legal list for the 2011 HS baseball that are BESR certified that has composite bats on it....I am certainly clearer on the rule, but its a shame that it has not been enforced or brought to folks attention sooner. I think High Point and 2 other teams got the message through the protests of Randolph County. I personally think they should have gone BBCOR from the beginning, period.

    I still wish the umpires would have not ok'd the bat last night....but live and learn. I am sure they weren't very happy with the situation either as they were trying to handle the situation as best they can....just makes them look bad. Shame really as that was a good crew out there. I am not sure they were as pleased to be back tonight in a very tense ball park.

    Time to move on....

    way to keep it rolling Hi Toms. Now just have to beat Randolph on the road again for the third time in four days. This is a tough bunch so I won't bet against them.

    High Point beat Randolph tonight to advance to state tourney(don't know score)

    play at Rowan County Sat...then at home Sunday...if neccesary back at Rowan Monday

    Way to go Post 87! Had to win five straight elimination games.

    I just might have to make it to Finch on Sunday. Don't know if they'll have enough pitching to win 2 against Rowan but would be good to watch them one more time
