Beautiful day for a ball game and High Point played great. David Coffey was sharp all game. He has pitched awesome this season. It's a shame he's not on some college roster because he is a gamer. He can hit the ball too. Has six HRs this season and helped himself alot yesterday with a single and triple and two runs scored.

Kevin Sanders really loves to hit against this Surry County team. Second home run of the series yesterday, a three run shot that extended the lead to 6-0. Those home runs are on top of the three he hit in the regular season win (2 grand slams and another 2 run shot).

These guys look like they are having a blast playing together. I hope they can knock off W Forsyth and make a deep playoff run.

You'll be happy to hear that DeSean Anderson has decided to go to the Gamecocks instead of taking a minor league offer with the Red Sox. You'll love to watch this kid play at USC.

Tools I'm sure it will be a great series. I know the Hi-Toms can hit the ball; I just hope their pitching holds out. They've got some good ones, just not sure if they have enough.

 

Not sure if this is right but I heard High Point beat West Forsyth 11-10. Heard Kevin Sanders hit 3 HRs and DeSean Anderson hit 2. I think that gives Sanders 15 HRs this season. Pretty good for a five week stretch.
