If High Point and Rowan both win these series in sweeps, will there be any break between this round and the next, so that pitching can re-align?

Or will they jump straight in to the High Point vs Rowan series if both of these teams finish off their sweeps tomorrow night?

Not trying to get ahead of myself but I'm just trying to figure out my schedule and see what games I might be able to make it to.

Bottom of the sixth Mooresville is up 6-3. Mooresville led 3-0 going into the sixth ( two home runs by Nathan Abraham) but High Point tied it up 3-3 on RBI hits by Kyle Brandenburg and Mike Whited. But Mooresville has come right back with three more in their half.

I'll post more details when I get them

    Rowan leads 2-1

    Randolph County 9
    Rowan County 7

Randolph extends their season with a victory in the best-of-five series. Rowan did to themselves what Randolph did the night before, wild pitches and walks. Rowan battled back to take a 5-3 lead after trailing 3-0 on Zach Smith's three-run homer in the second inning. Randolph then tied the game at 5-5 before taking a 7-5 lead. Rowan slowly found a way to battle back and tie the score at 7-7 and had the bases loaded with one out. Starter Colton Baughman was pulled for reliever Jake Ozment who fanned Jon Crucitti and Corbin Shive to end the inning. The top of the ninth was an inning that Rowan will have to forget as the first two Post 45 batters were walked. A couple wild pitches later and another walk, closer Preston Troutman was pulled. Alex Litaker gave up a single and then retired the batter, unfortunately for Rowan, the damage had been done. Ozment retired three Rowan batters in the bottom half to end the contest forcing a game four at Randolph on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Nick Smith should start for Rowan.
Bradley Holland hit a two-run homer for Randolph in the first inning.

Thanks for catching my error. Unfortunately I won't be there. My daughter probably will be. She even made the drive to Mooresville Thursday night. Of course it helped it wasn't far from Concord Mills.

Good luck to the Hi Toms. I also sent an e-mail to Coach Shore. Hopefully I can still get that story done - just a week later.
