    I was at the South game last night up in the press box, (with your great PA) not sure if you saw me or not. I'm interning this summer up at the Post. I was there with Mike London trying to learn some things. Hope to see you around the ball fields this summer.

    Sorry I missed you Westboy, I never made it to the pressbox, it was a great crowd on both sides. Btw, you working with Mike will be a great experience for you, he's a walking baseball encyclopedia, buy him a Sundrop and cheeseburger at the games, and you are IN... :rockon2:

    10 innings

    WP- Cedrick Coleman
    LP-Delerosa

    Western was crusing to 7-1 lead into the 7th, then the wheels came off, Kernersville puts up 9. WF comes back in bottom of 9 to to tie it up.

    2 outstanding plays late in game by 3rd. baseman Tanner Beck to shut the door.

    WF hit 5 homeruns.

    half way home I heard we went back to back in the 7th. then tied it with a HR in the 9th..

    Rowan was leading Mocksville 3-2 when play was halted by rain. The game will be started over when the make-up date is announced. Rowan is home against Kernersville tonight.

    Kannapolis was leading Lexington 15-5 in the top of the fifth and the rains came. The game will be restarted on June 3rd at Lexington.

    Rain wins again!

    Rowan County's scheduled game with Kernersville was cancelled due to rain on Sunday night. Rowan returns home tomorrow (weather permitting) to face Eastern Randolph in another non-league game.
