    American Legion broadcasts in Cabarrus County

    We have started American Legion game broadcasts on our new Internet radio station www.radiofreecabarrus.com The games are archived so you can go back and listen at any time. The next broadcast is Kannapolis at Concord Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. We've also added other programming, with the aim to replace local programming that went away when WEGO moved its operations to Charlotte.

    Rained out in top of 2nd.

    One heck of a storm!

    Will make-up as a double-header at Surry on June 25

    Rowan was leading Lexington 3-0 in the third when lightning and rain postponed the game. A make-up date has not been set.

    Rowan @ lexington was rained out tonight, mostly due to lightning. Rowan was win 3-0 in the bottom of the third. Trey Holmes was having a big night he was 2-2 with a HR and 3 RBI's. However when the game is made up it will start form scratch, no date was set yet.

    Everyone in the lineup had at least one hit for Kernersville as we pounded out 19 hit (most this season) Garrett Martin was 4 for 5 at the plate

    Post 36: 4-7 (4-6) will host Mocksville in a non-conference game tomorrow night at 7 pm.

    We caught the very side edge of the storm. It rained for the first couple of innings but it was very light and then it stopped and we got the game in.

    The make-up date for Rowan @ Lexington is June 18.

    Rowan's rescheduled date @ Stanly which was originally June 16, has been moved to June 21.
