    South Rowan over Lexington 13-3 in 8. Of course North Davidson still being in the playoffs hurt Lexington a lot.

    The 29ers hand Rowan their first loss of the season. Rowan was finally back at full strength for the first time this year. Rowan nearly tied the game in the bottom of the ninth after a bobbled ball by the CC third baseman, but Rowan didn't have the fastest runner at bat and he threw out Matt Miller by a step. Both teams look to be a couple of the state's best. I'm sure they might meet again. Rowan jumps back into league action Monday night against still shorthanded Lexington-Davidson at home.

    Hi-Toms Post 87 (High Point) beat Surry County 6-4 Saturday night. No details other than Kyle Brandenburg hit a two run HR. Post 87 has some good players on the roster. Hope they have a good season.
