    Kernersville 1 7 innings

    Brock Hudgens pitched six innings for the win. Kevin Sanders, David Coffey, Mike Whited and Desean Anderson all homered for the Hi-Toms. Apparently Anderson was a single away from hitting for the cycle but didn't get another at bat because it ended early. He was 3-5 last night so he is really killing the ball right now. Whited is showing a lot of power this summer too. High Point now 2-2 on the season.

    Randolph at Western Forsyth

    Rained out, flooded out, worst storm I have ever seen at West Forsyth. Trees down, wind screen down, equipment room flooded, concession stand flooded. The only thing that kept the BP cage from being in downtown WS was a fence that caught it.

    We will be lucky to play tomorrow!:fish:

    game was shortened by the rain. Umps called it in the sixth. It never really rained all that hard - was light enough they could have re-started but there was too much lightning. And the skies looked freaky weird, black and gray clouds swirling around. Best part of the game is they got it in ahead of the rain.

    It was 2-1 High Point in the second when I got there. ER pitcher had control problems. In the third High Point blew it open with 9 runs on a slew of walks, wild pitches and passed balls. Desean Anderson and Mike Whited both walked and scored to lead off then both came back up and Anderson had an RBI single and Whited followed him with a two run HR to the deepest part of the park (390). Whited already has three HRs this season. He must love this park. He reached in the fifth on a strike out and scored again.

    David Coffey was pitching well, throwing a lot of strikes for the win. Post 87 is now 3-2 and 2-0 in conference play.

    I think they are supposed to play @ W Forsyth tommorow but it sounds like that might not happen after the storm tonight.

    South Rowan at Lexington 5/28 resheduled for 5/30 7pm.

    Mooresville at South Rowan (non league) 5/30 cancelled. Not rescheduled.

    Mooresville at South Rowan 5/31 still on for Memorial Day.
