UK7Dook3,,,, I agree that the top 5 teams have separated themselves, but its also noted that Kannapolis gets the tiebreaker over Stanly by virtue of a regular season sweep of Stanly, so yes we're sitting pretty right now with only 4 games left against bottom-half teams. But if our boys even think about taking anyone lightly, they need only remember the name "Mooresville", who has given us 2 of our 3 losses. In this league this year, you simply gotta bring it every night.

Good Luck to your Lexy boys during the next week.

I suspected that & noted the 22nd with a question mark. Thanks for clarifying.

TJ, I don't know how the talent around the state is this year, but from what I saw last August I think the K boys are a favorite for the state title. Certainly they have the key ingredients: pitching, power hitting, & maturity. You only need 2 big arms & a little relief help to win it all.

Hey Boxman, I got the schedules from your Legion thread at NC Preps. So count me as an adventurous one who dares to explore the great beyond! I appreciate your efforts.

    Favorites???

I ain't buying guys,,,, remember Area 3 will host the state tournament this year with the Hi-Toms getting the host bid,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, know what that means? Only "ONE" other Area 3 team is going to the state tournament. Thats right, in a year where the southern division has 5 quality teams and the north has quality clubs too,,,,,,, we're all fighting for that "ONE LAST REMAINING SPOT". We've all seen crazy things happen in the great game of baseball, but with so many clubs in Area 3 virtually even,,,,, the race is wide open.

It should be a very interesting July...
