    Newell's is 5-1...They hadn't lost since the first game when they played without a lot of their starters who were playing for BUTLER....
    This was Charlotte's first loss....They are 4-1 or 5-1....

    The Charlotte Observer had an error in the paper on the Charlotte Post 262 vs Newell baseball game last night.

    The starting pitcher for Charlotte, Jordan Cudney, pitched into the eighth inning. He faced 2 batters, striking out the first and walking the second. He left the game with Charlotte leading 5 - 4. The losing pitcher of record was the relief pitcher. That would make 6 errors by Charlotte Post 262. Five in the field and one with the officially bad score keeper.

    Update on Union County Legion scores

    Friday 6/01 lost at Kings Mtn. 14 - 4

    Sat. 6/02 won at Steele Creek 25 - 11

    Monday at Huntersville won 4 - 3

    Does the Kings Mountain Legion team play at the local high school located on 500 Phifer Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086??

    I'm not sure of the road name but they play at Kings Mtn. High. From Charlotte if you go through KM on business 74 turn left at the first stoplight past the hospital. The HS is about a mile and a half down on the right. When you see the HS go past it then you will see the middle school. Turn right just beyond the middle school to get around to the baseball field.
