    Cherryville came back from a 9-1 deficit to win 11-10 over Rutherford County. Drew Reynolds picked up the win in relief and also contributed at the plate with 4 hits including a homerun in the 8th.

    Pineville Goes UP 2-0

    Pineville scored 6 in the third and 4 in the fourth inning to bury Burke County 14-4 in 7 inning contest Tuesday. Pineville outhit Burke 17-9.
    Back to Pineville for Game 3 on Wednesday.

    Shelby jumped out with 5 runs in the first and 5 more in the second and never looked back. Shelby leads the series 2-1 and Game 4 is in Shelby tomorrow night.
