    Just curious

I know Prowse's role as a senior was mainly a DH. I am not sure why though. I am really wondering what kind of freshman, sophmore, and junior year he had? Was he a field starter? Did he pitch? Was he batting on the same level that he did as a senior? If I am not mistaken he lead the Hopwell Titans in almost every offensive catagory as a senior. (Just wondering!) On another note , the college that he has decided to go to should be really happy to have him. I really hope that a high school coach would not let personal issues hold a kid back. If its grades or misconduct I understand. However, if that was the case he wouldn't be on the team at all, right. I am not sure why, but I think this guy is one to watch out for in the future.

    Charlotte 6
    Pineville. 5

    WP: Olen Little (4-0)
    Save: Jonathan Weymann

The Charlotte bats were a little quite tonight and Olen Little didn't pitch his best game but Charlotte came out with the win. James Snover had some key hits for Charlotte. Chase Carbone hit a two run shot for Pineville. Charlotte travels to Mint Hill tonight and will host Huntersville Saturday.

Keith has always been a defensive starter and was all conference as a catcher. He also made the varsity team at Hopewell high school as a freshman. Also recieved defensive MVP and offensive MVP. Came in his sophomore season as a pitcher but beat out a senior for the catcher position. Keith then in his junior season led the team with a 439 batting avg.(all conference). Senior season hit 357 with 4 homeruns (led the team) also led the team in RBIs. Led the team in doubles. Led the team in triples. pitched very well when he had the opportunity striking out 43 batters in 23 innings pitched. He was easily on pace for over 100 ks on the mound before being moved to the DH spot. 3 coaches in 4 years at Hopewell i guess you just can't please them all. (finished with 10 HRs in the 3 seasons he played at Hopewell.( This was one of the deepest parks in meck county)

Huntersville post 321 improves to 12-2 on the season. post 321 would get behind 2-0 early. The bats came alive in the third as Huntersville would move ahead to stay. Keith Prowse hits his 6th Homerun of the season along with a single and a double for a 5 RBI night(25). Jared Fortune would also go yard for Huntersville his 2nd. Hunter Conley threw very well for Huntersville and got the win. A big game tonight for Huntersville at North Meck high school as they take on Mint Hill. Huntersville holds the top spot in the east area IV.
