    Mint Hill Post 4059 12 Lancaster Post 31 10

    Mint Hill rallies down 10-6 in the 8th to win 12-10 in dramatic fashion. David Marvin hits a walk off 2 run homer in the bottom of the ninth to complete the comeback. Pinch hitter Garrett Vaughn hits a 2 run single in the bottom of the 8th to tie it at 10. Big nights at the plate for Marvin, Sherer and Eisenbath. Sergio Patsy picks up the win in relief.

    As far as I know MH was never supposed to play Fri night. Saturdays game vs. Lancaster was home opener and season opener.

    Who you think will be the top teams in the east? Is MH strong ? Or been better in past?

    Its really hard to say. The talent pool in this area of the Carolinas is unlimited. Any given Sunday as they say. MH only has 2 returners but a new crop of hungry gamers as proven in their 12-10 comeback win over Lancaster who had won 22-2 the previous night. So .......... enjoy the games !!

    Mint Hill 10 Ft. Mill 4

    Mint Hill moves to 2-0. Chase Shuford gets the win. Eisenbath 3 run home run put MH ahead for good in the 5th. MH host Concord on Thursday at Indy.

    Matt Simmons leads MH 4059 with an HR and 3 RBI. Nathan Bancroft records the win. MH now 3-0 heading to Shelby tomorrow for a big early season matchup.

    Shelby Post 82 - 9 Mint Hill - 8

    Matt Simmons hits 3 run HR in the 9th game visiting MH the lead 8-6. Shelby then put 3 hits together early in the bottom of the 9th and plated the winning run on past ball. Wild finish at the beautiful Keeter Stadium by 2 good teams.
