    Gaston 6 Queen City 5....bases loaded 1 out nantz runner at 3b scores winning run on a wild pitch. 17 hits for gaston...costly mental mistakes.

    Mint Hill 14 Kings Mtn 1

    Logan Sherer strikes out 12 in 7 for CG victory. Simmons (HR 2B 3RBI), Bancroft (4 RBI) and Eisenbath (2- 2B RBI ) fuel the offense. MH is 14-5 and 11-3 and hosts QC tonight.

    Rain halted play after 5 complete giving MH the win. Chase Shuford CG 1 hitter. Sherer remained hot at the plate going 3-3 to raise avg to .479 . Bancroft raised his season avg. to .438 . MH (15-5) (13-3) finishes reg season tonight at Huntersville.

    Lincoln county and Bruce bolick decide they won't work on the field for more than two minutes, so the rematch between Union County will not be played after UC led 1-0 after the top of the first. Did I mention it only rained 10 minutes?

    Sucks for us.... If uc lost that game and Gastonia it give uc 6 losses and gaston has 2 seed instead if 3. But word is uc and another team will no participate in playoffs ?
