    Union Co. 9 Mint Hill 4

    Tyler Chadwick gets the win at Wingate. UC jumped on MH early as Ross Rushing had a tough first 2 innings with a few walks and a hit batter. Andrew Knight had 4 RBI for UC as they win easily vs. Mint Hill. Rematch this evening at Butler.

    Crazy game

    Union Co. 6 Mint Hill 5 10 innings

    Jordan Newsome goes against Dalton Eisenbath. What a crazy game. MH gets 2 key RBI doubles from Brandon Wolf and Tommy Ollis to take a surprising 3-0 lead early. Newsome then strikes out almost everyone else as it seemed..... Union County had three hits going into 9th without a run. Eisenbath came out for the final inning and got in trouble. UC scored 2 with 1 out and had 2 runners on when Hunter Hires hits a breaking ball for a 3 run dong. Suddenly UC leads 5-4 top 9 when finally Dalton gets out of the inning. In the bottom of the ninth, pinch hitter Ross Rushing hits a solo blast to tie it at 5-5. Sergio Patsy relieves in the 10th only to take the loss on a tough seam hop error to win it for UC. Chase Gehringer hit a cutting liner in the bottom of the 10th with a runner on, but a fine catch by the left fielder ended the game. Just when ya think its might be over.....

    Queen city mustangs finally got a win last night against kings mountain. Great pitching by jack Norris and a timely stolen home plate by speedy James snover and timely errors all contributed.
