    Monroe's field is under water from yesterday to cancel their game with Pineville.

    Burke Post 21 Knocks Off Caldwell Post 29 7-6 in 10 innings

    :nailbite2: Burke County got a big Area IV win at Granite Falls on Friday night when they defeated Caldwell Post 29 by the score of 7-6 in 10 innings. Corey Rhoney struck out 9 after relieving Ethan Icard with 2 outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, with the score tied at 6-6. Trevor Tallent led off the 10th for Burke with double, and scored on sac fly. Dykota Spiess homered over right field wall at M.S. Deal. BC goes to 6-3 in west and CC is now 7-3. Should be good last week of season, with Burke hosting Cherryville on Sunday.
