    Hickory 8 vs. Burke Co. 7 in 10 innings...

    Reported by a 3rd party spectator: Burke was down by 6 going into the 7th, Hickory had 4 errors allowing Burke to score 6 tying the game and sending it into extra innings. Hickory won 8-7 in 10 innings. It was pretty exciting. Burke Co hit a foul ball (by a foot) that would have been a HR and ended the game at one point, then the next inning, Hickory gets up with a walk off HR. Burke had 2 men on base and Hickory booted the ball yet again. But then scored the last out.



    Pineville plays Hickory @ South Meck on Saturday, 7/2 @ 7:00pm.
