You know it seems like we've had a lot of 60 degree plus days this year until this week. If I didn't know the HS tryouts start next week I could have guessed, just by the weather! Every year seem s like the cold and rain waits untill the season starts. At least no night games for a while.

Thats for sure Blademan. We have all these nice days of weather then when baseball season comes, it turns on us for some reason. Well it was only a matter of time before all this warm weather turned cold on us. Hopefully, it will stay in the 50's, I can handle that. It's when it gets into the low 40's and high 30's is when it sucks to be a pitcher.

But hey, there is nothing better than being on a baseball field no matter how cold it is. :ylsuper:

    Blademan,

We all knew we'd pay for those summer like days we had in Dec and Jan.

Oh well, at least you're not in the mountains. Next Monday's forecast for Asheville reads snow showers and a high of 42.

We have our first games this weekend against Hiwassee. 2 games on Saturday and 1 game on Sunday. We aren't sure who is starting yet, but we will staff the games this weekend to get everybody some time on the mound before we head down to Chipola for the tournament.

Yeah, I knew we'd pay, but the older I get the harder it is! Coaching ain't too bad, but sitting there watching is tough. By the time I get up I can't hardly move! Supposed to be in the 40's here all week too.

LC be sure to keep me posted, like to keep up with them Piedmont boys you know. Remember, picture a tee sitting on the plate. You can work one side or the other, but if you hit the tee you gotta run poles! LOL! Always worked for Jarhead when he was small, now if I tell him to run he might whoop me!

We will certainly pay for the warm weather during the season.... It always warms up in January, simply to freeze our buns off in Feb-March!!!:ylsuper:
