Our Carolina Comets didn't do well in this one!

    Lost to Rockers
    Won against Fushion
    Lost to Dominators.

Very good tournament. When I left Wilmington the Cardinals had just lost to The Crushers. That put the Cardinals in the losers bracket to play the Dominators. They won, and then beat the Crushers twice to win the ASA State Championship!! Must have been a great 3 games to end the tournament. Wish I could have stayed and watched.

It was a great Tournamnet finish

Yes, the last three games were great at the ASA States. The Cardinals came back to win the losers bracket against the Dominators. Then they proceeded be play the Crushers twice, each time beating them 6-0. Brooke and Crystal were super on the mound and the Cardinal awesome defense returned. Their bats came alive against Shaina in the last two games. She held them in check the first game, however. After seven innings, the score was tied and they went into extra innings. A couple of Cardinal errors and mental mistakes sent them into the loser's bracket. But the Cardinal girls never gave up and won the tournament the hard way.
