    Blues won 2-0 vs MO Warcats and lost 3-0 to Kent. Cyclones

    Cardinals play at 2, Challengers play at 8am tomorrow

    Lots of good teams. The draw can make ya or break ya.
    The top 10 teams in NC can play with all these teams.
    You know there are a few smokers in the 144, but all in all,
    NC ball can roll with any of them. Wish we had more teams in this fight.
    The heat and a bad break here or good bounce there can be all it takes.
    Blues had a bad break in the 1st loss. Lets try to get 6 NC teams in next year.
    NC Flames , Curve , Mc's Cards, Cobra's, Pitt County, Lookouts,Cape Fear,
    Dazzle , etc etc etc. We need more teams to Register with ASA to get more NC bids.....................:blah:

    Tough team from Cal, we have seen them before in Clovis Cal. a couple years ago. You guys did well and represented NC well!

    Let's all pull for the Cardinals to win it all! They could do it if they continue to play as well as their first few days. Good luck to Ray and his team from the Blues!

    Challengers, hope U enjoyed your first Nationals as U represented NC well.

    It was hot, so hot I had several items melt!!!! :1pinklove

    The Blues and Cardinals (I believe) would love to be Gold and have beaten many Gold teams the last three years, however, we would have to play all our tourneys in Fla. Ga., Tenn., Ala. and other states to become Gold! There are no opportunitites in NC or SC. Can't speak for Ray but the Blues do not have the cash or resources to do all that travel. We already travel to Ga, Colorado, Fla., SC, Va, to play showcase events and qualifiy for ASA Nationals which are in Texas next year and that puts a tremendous strain on our parents budgets! Fund raisers only go so far and sponsors are tough these days. We welcome any big time sponsor to help and we would pursue the Gold designation in 2007!

    On coaches, I saw quite a few, mainly midwest but some NE, West, and SE schools. Spoke to many as we weathered the severe warmth!:twocents:
