    RAIN RAIN

    rained on a good tournament but with a killer format.The Lady Blues and Explosion were the smart ones and left .The Cardinals and The Chatt. Eagles were declared co-champs after 4 scoreless innings and 2 different fields. Finally someone made a decision on reguards to saftey. If the Blues and explosion had stayed they would have never played.

    the TS just hung around the lake and them foothills of GA all day dumping that steady rain. great driving conditions for those who did head north earlier on?
    ............tuff format indeed and Wahalla would have been the closest place, a game or twelve could have been played today down in Dixie.

    Great Job by Dennis, NGA Softball Association and especially the Players!! Outstanding efforts by all! :applause:

    Good job Cardinals, glad U made the Nationals once again. Was not able to go with Blues because of family needs. Heard there was a great deal of rain.

    Smart...maybe....just couldn't afford any injuries due to field conditions. You can't avoid the possibility of injuries during the game but if we had stayed under those conditions we were just inviting them. See the Blues in Salisbury.
