    Can someone clarify?

I have heard you must win or finish 2nd to qualify for the ASA Nationals in Sterling, VA.

I have also heard top 4 in a tourney go (like the regionals in Spartanburg in July. 19 teams currently entered).

Can someone tell me or or PM me with the actual qualifications?

    Thanks much.

The ASA Regionals give out 2 berths per age group to the Nationals.

The ASA NAtional Qualifiers only give out 1 berth per age group.

    Hope that helps!

    qualifying

    1. pardon me here if what i think is correct but ends up wrong. ( i'm used to it ). 2. 2007 ASA nationals are in texas, right? 3. are you referring to qualifying in Va.? 4. ***been there, done that***, my hat is off to you and your girls and i wish you the best. qualifying is only the tip of the iceberg. ASA doesn't just say , ok, you qualified, like some other associations do, TO GET YOUR MONEY. personally, i like that approach. survive and advance to the next round. its a wonderful experience, make sure you don't lull your, parents to sleep after qualifying. the journey has just begun. go for it. you'll never regret it. but remember this. win or place this week gets you to next week. do it again moves you to the next round. wow, i wish i could be a part of it. BEST OF LUCK! i'm sure the girls can get there. keep us posted, play safe

    You are correct

You are right...I got clarification yesterday from a great ASA director in SC, Chad Greene.

You will have to win or finish 2nd in a regional qualifier to go to Normal, Ill for the USA Nationals in August. You can also finish 1st or 2nd in the ASA Eastern Nationals in Sterling, VA and get an invite.

To climb that mountain takes money money money and total desire from kids and parents.

Looking forward to "the climb". :newsmile24: <not a fan, but he looks like he is having fun with his climb.
